The Rovatti ‘V’ series of vertical lineshaft pumps are for well diameters of 6″ – 16″, with a wide range of flanged drive options available from vertical electric motor to horizontal right-angle gear for electric, engine or tractor PTO drive.
These pumps are used in many industrial, civil and agricultural applications. Most common applications are water systems, pressure boosting, fire-fighting, washing down and irrigation.
The V series pumps, also known as vertical turbine pumps, consist of three main elements; the drive unit, cataphoresis treated column pipes and pump body.
Series summary as follows:
6V – 6″ mixed flow wet end centrifugal lineshaft pumps. With flows of up to 78m³ (maximum) and closed head pressures up to 250 metres these pumps are for minimum borehole diameters of 6 inches. Featuring cast iron or brass impellers, cast iron footvalve and galvanised steel strainer as standard
7V – 7″ mixed flow wet end centrifugal lineshaft pumps. With flows of up to 132m³ (maximum) and closed head pressures up to 280 metres these pumps are for minimum borehole diameters of 7 inches. Featuring cast iron or brass impellers, cast iron footvalve and galvanised steel strainer as standard.
8V – 8″ mixed flow wet end centrifugal lineshaft pumps. With flows of up to 192m³ (maximum) and closed head pressures up to 310 metres these pumps are for minimum borehole diameters of 8 inches. Featuring cast iron or brass impellers, cast iron footvalve and galvanised steel strainer as standard.
10V – 10″ mixed flow wet end centrifugal lineshaft pumps. With flows of up to 408m³ (maximum) and closed head pressures up to 295 metres these pumps are for minimum borehole diameters of 10 inches. Featuring cast iron or brass impellers, cast iron footvalve and galvanised steel strainer as standard. The 10V-300 model has carbon steel, cataphoresis treated impellers as standard.
12V – 12″ mixed flow wet end centrifugal lineshaft pumps. With flows of up to 540m³ (maximum) and closed head pressures up to 225 metres these pumps are for minimum borehole diameters of 12 inches. Featuring cast iron or brass impellers, cast iron footvalve and galvanised steel strainer.
14V – 14″ mixed flow wet end centrifugal lineshaft pumps. With flows of up to 780m³ (maximum) and closed head pressures up to 205 metres these pumps are for minimum borehole diameters of 16 inches. Featuring cast iron or brass impellers, cast iron footvalve and galvanised steel strainer.
16V – 16″ mixed flow wet end centrifugal lineshaft pumps. With flows of up to 1200m³ (maximum) and closed head pressures up to 145 metres these pumps are for minimum borehole diameters of 18 inches. Featuring cast iron or brass impellers, cast iron footvalve and galvanised steel strainer.
